Paris Motel
With the tone of Dido (that is a very big compliment also) and some seriously great musical talent Amy May’s Paris Motel is a pleasure to listen to. The production and instrumentation (arranged I believe by Amy) is fantastic. Vocal acapella with the string quality that you would expect from Nick Drake is a nice touch. Shame I am not around on 2nd Sep or I would be visiting Shepherds Bush for sure. If you are around, make sure you are there.
Who should be listening to Paris Motel? Anyone with musical class!
Prophesy
Southend based band keeping the metal zone sounds rock scene alive. Early stages of a band at the point in their musical career where they can continue and become a really great project or just fade out. Let’s home it’s the former of the two as we would love to hear more. The only thing I would say and obviously a personal comment is I would like to hear it upped a few BPM.
