Astrid Mckaye

We like having material ‘enclosed for our pleasure/ pain’. When putting Astrid Mckaye into the CD player I was expecting something with big fat guitars and very dark. Pleasantly surprised listening to the nicely produced sounds of this CD. Always nice to hear ‘off the norm’. So much in fact I am going to put their second CD in the player! Sorry if this isn’t making the most of sense, but after drinking a bottle of wine and sitting down and listening to trippy sounding self described ‘electro-pop’ sometimes it is hard. Basically, look out for this, not sure if I should say group or artist as I haven’t read in to them enough, but listen out. They have got some good sounds going down.
