A Boy Named Girl
Orginially formed a couple of years ago by Steve and Phil, they met at school and decided to start this band. They struggled to find musicians with similar interests and tastes in music but eventuly found Craig. They continued to write music as a three piece but didn't take it seriously until finding Andy and Luke when the band started college at north west kent. The five of us spent the summer of 2006 writing songs and recreating old ones and we are now doing gigs. We've got a demo out at the moment that you can get by messaging us or talking to any band member. We are currently writting a few new songs with much more of a happier outlook on things and dropping songs that the band are not fully satisfied with, we will be putting the new ones on our next demo, however dont expect it until the late months of 2007 or the early months of 2008. A Hundred and Forty Two
142 was a collection of collaborations with anyone who wanted to join in. Lead singer Christian Stoner started writing some solo material last year with a view to getting some old friends together and making something to be proud of. Now this has snowballed into a band of people he met during these recording sessions and we're about to get funky!!!!

"I was born by the river in a little tent"... erm no i wasn't but wouldn't that have been great for my biography? Adrian is writing this biography and refuses to do this in third person dammit!! I remember before i was allowed an instrument i used to multi track songs by singing the parts from one tape recorder to another. I remember how facinating it was to build up a song from a simple melody to (by the standards of an eight year old) an epic. My love for the Piano inspired me to teach myself to play and the Guitar and Djembe followed a few years down the line. I have played in various bands over the years and have taken myself in many directions.
I released my first real album "Welcome To One Man Town" at the end of 2004 and play gigs on a regular basis with my best friend Beth Dariti. I am always interested in playing as many gigs as possible so feel free to contact me if you have a venue with an empty stage :) I hope the music inspires you in some way, but if not then i just hope you think it kicks ass!! Altered Perceptions consists of Sylvaback tha poet(lyricist/producer/main vocalist) VAR (Producer/Engineer) mcV (lyricist) Lord Mitch (guest vocalist) Fayte (guest vocalist). The music genre they present they fondly named Electro-Rockhop as it is a mix of hiphop,electronica and Metal, the sounds vary from live guitars, organs and drums through to synthesized sounds using the likes of Korgs and Phat Samplers. The issues covered are world ranging from political stand points to war to living a good life, always trying to present reality without the sugar coating. Between the members they have a combined musical knowledge spanning 15yrs. They are always looking for oppurtunities to expand their knowledge and to perform to the people for which their music appeals. Angelo
Brett and Joe Angelo originaly born and brought up in East London had always had musical interests from a young age. The two brothers had always wrote songs with each other but there was something missing. In 1998 they moved to Lichfield and met a young guitarist by the name of Mason. The three musicians soon started jamming together regualy. Realising they needed a drummer they asked Eddie Dive a good friend of the boys by now if he would step in and help them for a while. He agreed and was soon the full time drummer. Eddie was the final piece and so they became Angelo. You could describe them as rock'n'dole.
