Apples For Everyone
Apples For Everyone are a London based folk punk band whose sound takes the eclecticism of Arcade Fire, the passion of Bright Eyes and the playful melodic strength of Madness. Band influences range from indie to ska, blues to folk, motown to trance.
Unwilling to succumb to the standard four-piece indie set up, instruments played include trumpet, violin, flute and bagpipes. Their 14 members occupy the stage, swapping instruments and dancing amongst the audience.
No topic is out of bounds for the group’s 7 songwriters; love, sex, death and plate tectonics are all given airtime.

blumone
blumone* started as a solo project by laptopist/vocalist OB in 2003. After producing the EPs: "Introducing....Blumone" and "We are....Blumone", asked to perform live for the "weareyou..." nights organized by Boot Music, he joined forces with Jonny Wilkinsons on the drums (Spring) and Mark Hubbard on the bass (Red Lorry, Yellow Lorry) (position now vacant...) to debut on the 9th of December 2004 at the Carpe Diem in Leeds. After that enriched by the warm sound of the tenor sax of Leon Thomas Johnson, they follow up with another couple of gigs in February and April and at the end of the month they recorded a new version of "Supafank (Take me to the Fabric!)" produced by Carl Rosamond (Billiard Room). With more gigs on store (watch this space!), a set of brand new songs and few remixes on the way, blumone* are just looking for the right exposure...
Superb electropunk, funkpunk ep which crosses the genres effortlessly and comes out on top... forward thinking with a nod to the past...

Current Condition of Self (CCS)
I my name is Ian. When im bored i record stuff off my computer mic which sucks. Ive only been playing guitar for 3 years and barely play bass at all, so forgive me if my stuff doesnt level up. But in my opinion it has some potential. I also work along with my friend Nic Poague where we do raps and other musical projects. The quality of my songs is horrid, so if you can, listen to it on head phones, it sounds alot better.

d:models
A meat hooking, soulfurious sonic jihad injecting fresh barbiturates into a stagnating genre of girl fronted dance rock. Coming on like your hyperactive lil' sister overdosing on candy with fistfuls of razor wire. It's a rebellion against your playground rules for genres.
d:models are a four-piece band that formed back in 2004, when female singer Maxi Wild decided to channel her attitude into music. The band wield electronic beats with punk rock to create infectious industrial punk.
The title track opens with an electronic voice quickly followed by a gigantic punky riff, then Maxi Wild's contagious vocals begin and you're quickly took on a bouncy little ride that should have been called adrenaline rush as it would sum the song up from start to finish. Superstar Punk Numb ... begins sounding like Nine Inch Nails, the riffs are all distorted grime, male vocals are mixed down in the mix and your left with a feeling of impending menace, but instead you have another one of those superbly catchy choruses that straddles the divide of pop and industrial music with a fine balancing act.
d:models have everything in place to create a big splash, the songs are really strong they have a great image and an ace attitude, keep a close eye out for this ba

Huromoods
Ive attempted with 'Huromoods' to create something quite mystical, atmospheric, music for people of our technological age to find some kind of peace within. Juxtachrome
Aged 9, his mum took him to the doctor with whiplash from moshing to 'Stray Cats'. Dave Ezra (Juxtachrome) loved his music, but it wasn't until long after his neck had repaired that he started writing.
Ezra left school and took on a job as apprentice golf professional which failed to meet his needs or expectations. Some time before the golf fizzled out, he got an acoustic guitar. Harmony, melody and the lawless world of songwriting - absolutely smitten! He studied music at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts 1998-2001. These days, you'll find him in the Brighton area gigging with pal, Mr Finn hammering out loops, words, noise and soul. Juxtachrome gigs are coming...currently seeking keyboard player. Anyway, the rest is for you to judge in the listening! Respect and Thanks.

loor ambient
The inception of Loor Ambient began in the late 90’s when Leandro Ganzero was playing guitar in STS, a trip hop trio. Playing in the trio facilitated Leandro's ability to develop ideas and experiment with the digital medium. The technique of blending raw sounds and digital samples would become the primary focus for Leandro and Loor, after STS split.
Leandro has appreciated the evolution of digital sounds and rhythms since the early 80's. He is inspired by many pioneering and contemporary artists. Naturally, he aspires to be one of top creative engineers contributing to this movement. Leandro is continually honing his own style of music and has created his first cut called "Overloaded".
His musical style incorporates his personal expressions, thoughts and feelings; furthermore his music defies traditional melodies which have the tendency to be governed, metered and timed.

microphone STAND
microphone STAND is a one man gang, located in the former mining town of Coalville, in North West Leicestershire. microphone STAND has existed for a number of years, however the current direction was a cummulative process, with earlier songs being much more traditional brit rock; the sound has gradually evolved to a much more leftfield affair, as microphone STAND began to be heavily influenced by the leftfield electronica and jazz that he was discovering: Squarepusher and Alica Coltrane are major influences. microphone STAND takes a very lo-fi approach to music and melds simple, almost naive melodies, to all manner of discordant interest. microphone STAND has received favourable reviews from a number of publications across the independent music sector (as well as some baffled ones) from the likes of Josh Smoulders (creator of e-labs) through to unpeeled - a John Peel tribute fanzine. Currently unsigned, working towards the completion of a first album, expected to be completed by the end of 2007. Myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/microphonestand

MidiMidis
'Displaying an infectious enthusiasm for life, due to their independently motivated work ethic and energetic albeit symbolic lifestyles, MidiMidis loaded up with no memory card being removed. Spawning from an element of confusion and a longing for a bold incorporation of interesting and innovative influences, MidiMids represent a creative surge of creativity orchestrated by two brothers-in-law. Two brothers who enjoy spending far too much time drinking beer and experimenting with retro midi sounds on their old dusty unreliable laptops, GameBoys, GameGears and scuzzy broken guitars.
From an early age, the two have embraced everything from Gary Numan, AC/DC, Howard Jones and Bahuaus, to Nirvana, The Velvet Underground, and Television. MidiMidis create their minimalist fuzzy-buzzy 8-bit music by meticulously weaving the harsh feedback-heavy guitars of Sonic Youth together with the sharp angular work of Talking Heads, Kraftwerk and Human League.
Whether pondering over forgotten thoughts, the ubiquitous subject of relationship breakdowns or pining after a bottle of wine, lead singer Marcus manages to somehow circumvent the bile bitterness that many a songwriter would fall for. He treats these and other dark subjects with a bohemian carelessness and humorous irreverence only to the back drop of feedback laced angular guitars and electro bass and midi bleeps.
Interestingly enough, the band make a habit of playing guerilla gigs at house parties and in random locations using their (rather battered) laptop, a mega-phone and a guitar. However, when it comes to recording, the MidiMidis choose to record all of their guitars, bass and vocals on an analogue reel-to-reel 8-track whilst mixing the entire midi samples and overall sound digitally. With their debut record out both physically and on iTunes in early 2008; MidiMidis continue to be a compelling dirty underground phenomenon, now ready to explode before your eyes. Makes you want to play Asteroids really doesn’t it?'

Neeta
I'm about to enter my 3rd year of university studying popular music at Leeds College Of Music. I am a singer/songwriter/pianist, selective guitarist and producer. I'm currently working with a band with my material comprising of 6 vocalists, 2 keyboarders, a saxophonist, flautist, guitarist, bassist and drummer. It is important to notice that not only am I a singer but also a songwriter and I love to write for other vocalists other than myself. The first track is sung by my good friend and band mate Freya Horsey but the other tracks are sung by myself. I hope to eventually have a collection of my work, maybe in the form of an LP or an album with tracks comprising of various talented vocalists as well as those of myself.
I don't have much recorded, I am looking to work with a producer or an engineer come september time to get some some sort of EP or something sorted. If you think you would be good at this please get in contact with me!
I have been recognised on BBC national radio, favoured and liked by BBC Radio 1 and Asian Network's DJ Bobby Friction. In reference to my track "If" he expressed, "i think i'm in love with her music,...i'm going to leave my job as a radio presenter, set up a record label, make her my first signing, and make her a star".
I'm currently on the hunt for as many gigs as possible, so if you would like to book the band, please contact me through myspace. I am also looking to do acoustic gigs, so for these please do the same thing. I am situated within the Leeds area (UK).

Pellethead
4 fools with an overwhelming desire to play music got together. They wanted to do something unhinged but beautiful, they wanted to be able to put on a show, and they wanted to retain a sense of humour. They taught themselves to play their instruments and so developed music that was mad but exquisite. Blessed with tremendous good looks and an urge to show off they quickly developed into extraordinary showmen. And the band’s foundation was based on biting sarcasm. Job done. Pellethead were born.

Rí (pronounced ‘ree’) was formed in Dublin on an Aquarian morning 24 years ago with a love for noise and everything that makes a sound. Since then he has been manifesting the noises in his head into infectious catchy songs for people to dance and relax, think and act to. He plays every instrument you can think of and writes, arranges, and performs the songs himself.
Rí has both played and shared the stage with some of the greatest bands and musicians of our time, including: The Wailers (3 Times!), Damien Dempsey, Hothouse Flowers, Toots & The Maytals, Sly & Robbie – with Michael Rose (Black Uhuru), Jimmy Cliff, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Bad Manners, The Beat, Nightmares on Wax, Humanzi, Republic of Loose, Beenie Man, Damien Rice, Lir, Jah Free, Nucleus Roots, Mad Professor, Pugwash, Junior Murvin, The Frames, etc, etc, etc …..
Rí has performed in nearly all the major venues throughout Ireland, with regular sojourns to the US, Wales, Scotland, England, Netherlands, Poland and Croatia and solo appearances at venues in Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo, Australia (Surfer’s Paradise) and Fiji.
So far Rí’s demos are being extremely well received and generating more and more interest from within and without the industry.

Rodent Emporium
Rodent Emporium are a 5 piece comedy rock n roll band, with punk undertones, humorous lyrics and an exciting stage presence. Whether playing in front of upset Indie muse'os or the rest of us who have a sense of humour and enjoy being entertained, Rodent Emporium never fail to win both new appreciators and new hecklers and keep those who have been watching from the start, interested.
Hailing from across the central belt, the band and concept for Rodent Emporium was formed in early 2005, by 2006 they had recruited fellow fellows to make the concept a living breathing band. Together they are quite a bunch aging from 19 to 35 with significant gaps in between, completely different ideas on style and most of the time can't agree on the colour of poo poo. What they do have is a shared passion for music, performing and people.
Having now gained enough interest from start up label Void Avoidance, Rodent Emporium are about to embark on the recording of their debut album and begin a U.K. tour in March/April 2008. You will find them gigging in a town near you, and they wont cost you a fortune to put on so if you want them to play, send them a message, they really are a lovely bunch.

We've been around since august 2006 and since then have become fairly successful. we have quite a few dedicated fans already and have already had a fair bit of airplay aswell as being 6th on the overplay.co.uk metal charts and were at one point 4th in the rate my band top ten (out of around 650 bands).
we love gigging and its our favourite thing to do, hence we don't record very often however we are releasing our second ep soon called let's save the day. it was going to be an album but the album will be released after it when people have bought the ep and we have enough for some decent recording.
we dont have a definate genre but in general we are pop punk and emotronic. we have just introduced using a kaoss pad live into our music and so we are going to be writing songs more for use with the kaoss pad in future for the album. we are a very fun band live and we dont try to be anything more than the teenagers we are.
so with an ep and hopefully a fairly long album on the way, there are certainly some reasons to celebrate. if you want to book us for a gig as many people have already done then feel free to contact us and we will play as long as we dont have any other arrangements on that day...

Tag 28
The Ian Brady Bunch has been around since 2001 as a hardcore band before dropping all but one of it's members and taking a new direction. A few name changes and general tweaks later and The Ian Brady Bunch was assembled in December 2002. The brains behind the beast, Abra Kadaver and Kitten Mittens, changed the name to Tag 28 in the late part of 2004 with a new sound and new setup with which they hope to realise their dreams.
So far it's not working.

The Baghdaddies
Each member of the quintet is absurdly accomplished - and they all sing too, sometimes all at once. A Baghdaddies gig promotes a healthy increase in heart rate, inducing an irresistible urge to dance uncontrollably and smile benignly on your fellow man (and woman). Fusion of rhythms and melodies plucked from around the world are guaranteed to raise your spirits! Festival favourites, The Baghdaddies play Balkan gypsy with Middle Eastern flavours, shades of klezmer and tango, jazz and reggae plus a touch of ska - all laced with funky dance grooves and blistering eastern brass harmonies.

The Farewell Party
The Farewell Party (aka) Chris Sawyer began in late 2005 as a solo project Ep. The best way to describe the music i write is : Cinematic, Dark, Emo, Suburban Synth, Electronica. I wanted to create a music that is dramatic and intense. The songs are about corrupt family life(something i believe everyone can reflect on) How everything seems fine on the outside, but behind closed doors its a different world. i like to write about the things no body likes to talk about. all of your inner demons are on this EP. the music itself is mostly computer synth, with layers of ambient and melodic tones and everything from Lo-Fi washed beats to hard driving acoustic drums. I produced the EP myself, wrote and performed all instruments. This type of music i realize wont appeal to alot of people. But if it sounds interesting to you, please feel free to listen.

"A heartfelt slice of superior songwriting and arranging."
" more and more infectious with every play."

THE HENRY ROAD
ROLLING STONE USA Review
"For those who prefer more of a deranged psychotropical trip, the Loggy Log EP from Nottingham nuts the Henry Road is an irresistibly unhinged Wagonpop operetta that will fire up the synapses of anyone who found Side Two of Ogden's Nut Gone Flake to be a mite too lucid. Mad, original and really rather brilliant. "

The Loved Ones
Here’s a ragged group of musicians with an eccentric, mismatched background that shouldn’t come together so well. The music, just like their disparate credentials covers a range of styles whilst maintaining a unique identity and they will take you on a journey as seen from their own peculiar view. They’ve peopled a universe with paranoiacs, fallen missionaries and Stepford victims to name but a few: Forget the conventional terms of engagement: You’re about to enter the world of The Loved Ones

The Rhythm Balladeer
I was born near Matlock in Derbyshire, UK on 23rd March 1954.I left Matlock as a bass player in a rock band formerly known as the Doughnut Band in 1973 and moved to Coventry. I played in top Coventry bands as bassist in "Hot Snacks" and keyboards in "THE Ring" not forgetting of course Doc Mustard and the Cobalt Kids. In 1989 I won Original Lyric category of the Nordoff/Robbins Musician style '89 national competition I didn't want to end my days in Coventry so in 1991 I moved to West Cornwall.

The Sound Clinic
The Sound Clinic are based on the outskirts of middlesbrough and have been writing material ever since the band was formed in mid 2006. Crafting a sound without the use of a Bass guitarist (a group decision after a small lineup change within the band) they have seemed to impress anyone who's had a chance to see them perform. The band’s material seems to maintain a psychedelic feel to it whether the songs are abrasive and aggressive or slow and spacey. The band members use their different influences everything from; The Velvet Underground to The Stooges, Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett to Roxy Music and Yes, The Who to Led Zeppelin, Pere Ubu to Joy Division, The Smiths to The Stone Roses, Sonic Youth to Pavement, Suede to Blur, At The Drive-In to Trail of Dead. The musical influences from all three members help to innovate a distinct original sound that sets them apart from the rest. A group of hardworking self taught determined musicians willing to go to great lengths to achieve anything they want to. No throw backs to bygone eras nothing reused or recycled nothing imitated just pure experimental Avant-Garde rock. The band are currently recording their first demo courtesy of themselves hopefully with a label or promotions company under their belt in the near future history could be made.

The Vinyl Gibbon
The Vinyl Gibbon (aka David Elliott) is a solo musician who hails from Brighton, England. He has been producing music for over 10 years using a mix of real piano and synthesizers blended with world instruments and percussion. Influenced by Jazz and World Music he creates a smooth down-tempo sound with a diverse experimental approach. Inspired by his many journeys around the world, he brings a subtle ambience into the music, such as the sounds of Bali and jungle noises from the Costa Rican rainforest.
He has always had a piano close by since he was a small boy, although he didn’t truly find a passion for playing until his late teens. He discovered whilst at college that sound was the best art form to vent his creativity. Alongside Photography and Fine Art, one of his projects was to produce a music video, so he decided to create the track to go with it. Since then music production has been his main focus. Much of his time is spent in solitude in the studio, which is the key to how he produces his sound. After returning from travelling he can spend days on his own, putting his inspiration into a solid form.
The Vinyl Gibbon recently won “ Best lounge single of the year “ at the Los Angeles Music awards and is currently receiving worldwide airplay on numerous stations including the Courtney Pine Jazz Show BBC Radio 2, Ison Radio Network (Australia), Slackline Radio (Alaska), Sky Jazz Radio, Jazzy Lounge, KRUA 88.1 FM, KFSR 90.7 FM, CKCU 93.1 FM, WPRK 91.5 FM, PBS 106.7 FM, Groovera.com, Matchbox Radio 24 and many more.

Walt Ribeiro
Ribeiro got serious about music at the age of 16 when he learned to play the guitar. Inspired by the sounds of Frank Zappa and Pearl Jam, he enrolled as a jazz guitar performance major at Camden County College in New Jersey. There he worked hard on his playing technique, transcribing, and arranging. After two years of study, he continued his education at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia to study music composition. As his works improved and got bigger, the idea of releasing an orchestral CD seemed unrealistic.
“I began writing the score in March 2005, completed by April 2006, and then had a product with no one to perform it. When the idea of using samples occurred to me, I was unsure but excited.” With this, Ribeiro invested endless amounts of time to understand and learn MIDI orchestration and production, so he could turn his music into a sound recording.
Finally on Oct. 4, 2006, Ribeiro’s CD ‘I.I’ was debuted, and in such a short time has already created an incredible buzz in the greater Philadelphia area.
Over the years Walt has taught over a hundred students - everything from orchestration and ear training to guitar and recording techniques. “You don’t know something well enough unless you can teach it to somebody, and that’s where I learned things the most, was through my students.”
